Transfer Admissions


Students who have attended another College or University prior to seeking admission to Texas Southern University are transfer students. Visit  to look up Texas course equivalencies for transferable coursework.

Application Deadline:

  • Fall - August 3
  • Spring - January 5
  • Summer I - May 11
  • Summer II - June 22

Financial Aid Deadlines:

  • Fall - July 15
  • Spring - November 15
  • Summer I - May 15
  • Summer II - June 15

Requirements

  1. Complete Application for Admission online at 
  2. Submit $42.00 non-refundable application fee, or approved fee waiver request - 
    No application will be processed without the required application fee or approved fee waiver
  3. At least 15 semester hours of college-level credits and grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  4. Forward transcripts from each institution attended to:
