The Jesse H. Jones School of Business MBA ETS Exit Exam is designed to assess students’
ability to demonstrate knowledge of business content areas (marketing, management,
finance, and managerial accounting), strategic integration skills, as well as measure
critical thinking ability.
Taking the Exam
MBA students must take the exit exam during their semester of graduation. It is suggested

Yes, all graduating MBA students must complete a comprehensive exit exam prior to
graduation.
All prospective graduating MBA students will be notified of exit exam registration
and testing session dates via email.
The MBA ETS Exit Exam is a 124-multiple choice question test that is designed to assess
knowledge of core business subjects and ability to integrate them. It evaluates factual
knowledge, strategic integration, and critical thinking through a mix of questions
covering marketing, management, finance, and managerial accounting. Refer to the ETS Institution as the Proctor for Major Field Tests-Student Procedures document for the Minimum Systems Requirements, as well as Before Test Day and Test Day Instructions. Testing time required for the MBA ETS Exit Exam is 3 hours, in addition to 30 minutes
for check-in in case technical issues are encountered. Test scores are reported on
a scale of 220-300.
All testing will be administered virtually using online tests with remote proctoring.

to re-schedule from remaining test dates.

Registering for the Exam
Prospective graduating MBA students will be notified of exit exam testing and registration
dates via email. Students will complete the registration form below to sign-up for
an MBA ETS Exit Exam testing date/time. Exams are administered every fall, spring,
and summer semester. Note: If a student expected to complete graduation requirements
earlier and has already tested, the student does not have to test again.
